Gran Turismo is arguably the best racing game of all time. Having bought your first car, pitted your wits against the B licence tests you enter into the GT Universe. Ridge Racer Type 4 has seen Namco attempt to attack Polyphony's dominance and put themselves back on top. Sorry folks, but for hardhitting realism GT is still number one, for walth of gameplay options GT is still number one, for kickass replays GT is...etc, to be fair RRT4 is more easy to get into and has a similar wealth of cars, but with GT2 arriving anytime soon, RRT4's honeymoon will soon be other.

I put this game here because it is in direct contrast to GT realism, it is mad, insane hilarious madcap fun that will leave you delirious with laughter as you explode across the line first with a hearty chuckle or hit your mate, who was whipping your ass, with a leader missile on the last lap to win the race. Alternatively, you will scream in anger as a race that was in the bag slips to sixth right before your eyes in seconds.
